Здравствуйте.
После добавления второго пользователя в hasher-useradd, hasher
перестал работать.

Components: hasher
Processing pkglists... hasher done
Processing srclists...  hasher done
Creating component releases... done
Updating global release file... done
Appending MD5Sum... hasher done
All your base are belong to us!!!
hasher-priv: etc: bad owner: 500
mkchroot: getugid1 failed.

Удаление второго пользователя из системы, чистка /etc/hasher-priv
не помогли. Что еще нужно сделать?

Спросить id user1 и убедиться что этот пользователь входит в группы
user1_a,user1_b,hasman :)

Что-то похожее уже было:
$ sed -ne '/^3\.1\.3/,/^3.2/p' /usr/share/doc/hasher-1.0.19/FAQ

3.1.3 Well, I've logged in, now it reports:
        hasher-priv: /: bad perms: 757
        mkchroot: getugid1 failed.

   You file system permissions are broken, you really should repair your
   operating system as soon as possible.
