Да, намудрили они с алгоритмами.
Что за ерунда. При смене адреса перегружаться? Это прям Выньдоус
получается (притом ранние версии).
Почему restart не действует? Он должен действовать всегда!
USE_HOTPLUG=yes должен влиять на загрузку модулей, а не на
рестарт (стоп/старт) интерфейса.
Вот поставил в options:
#USE_HOTPLUG=yes
BOOTPROTO=static
TYPE=eth
ONBOOT=on
MODULE=eepro100
вроде должно хватать
Я смотрю в /etc/net куча этих options.defaults для всех мыслимых
интерфейсов и случаев жизни, т.ч. что-то я может лишнее завел.
Но у меня работает.
