Я на одном компьютере видел такую вот забавную фишку с внешним USB-диском: оно
монтировалось, через секунду размонтировалось, снова монтировалось (под
устройством с другим уже именем) ну и т.д.
Причем флешка кушалась нормально. И с другим USB-адаптером всё нормально.
Наверное, питания не хватало таким хитрым образом...
