В общем настроил я все, работает как часы. Там еще BIOS оказался кривой, ACPI
глючный и т.п., это добавило развлечений. Должен отметить - Альт показал себя
с самой лучшей стороны. Ни кноппикс, ни федора, ни дебиан на этой машине
вообще не завелись, несмотря ни на какое шаманство, причем не только у меня,
как показало гугление. А Сизиф заработал как ни в чем ни бывало сразу после
прописывания правильных слов в нужных местах, и даже без hotplug'а. А вот
installer-2.9.9.6 - увы, не сдюжил. Хотя если бы я знал как там отключить
ACPI может быть и получилось бы. Не нашел.
