А старого flash не стоит?
Помню несколько месяцев назад у меня Mozilla стабильно падала на флеше.
Долго ковырялся, пока не натравил strace. Оказалось что Mozilla
использовала невесть как сохранившийся netscape-flash-plugin! (это от
4-го netscape!)
Так что посмотрите:
rpm -qa | grep flash
старья не завалялось?
