Может кто-нибудь помочь проанализировать strace, поняв почему падает БД
при выполнение INSERT?
strace пользоваться не умею, так что результат его выполнения мне мало
чего говорит.
Грешил сперва на vserver, перенес на хост-машину.
После перезагрузки сервера все вроде заработало, а потом опять началось :(
Помогите пожалуйста.

Надо заставить его сделать core (ulimit -c unlimited). Для этого нужно
поковыряться в init-скритпах (и если он в чруте, то изменить права на
текущий каталог, чтобы он смог положить core; демоны, как правило, имеют
текущим каталогом "/").

А что за постгрес-то и что с ним происходило в районе того, как
падать начало? (например, переезд на восьмёрку там или обновление
7.4.x)
