Что-то никак не пойму, в чём дело:
~ # mdadm --create /dev/md0 --level=1 --raid-devices=2 /dev/sda2 /dev/sdb2
mdadm: array /dev/md0 started.
~ # mdadm /dev/md0 -f /dev/sda2
mdadm: set /dev/sda2 faulty in /dev/md0
~ # mdadm /dev/md0 -r /dev/sda2
mdadm: hot removed /dev/sda2
~ # mdadm /dev/md0 -a /dev/sda2
mdadm: add new device failed for /dev/sda2: Bad file descriptor
mdadm последний из Сизифа, ядрышко 2.6.11, udev нет, жёстко всё прибито
в /dev.
