Не так давно в рассылке кто-то жаловался, что сабж (DVDRW) не работает под
линуксом.
Вчера сам стал "счастливым обладателем" подобной железяки. Полдня матерился
пока разобрался как её заставить работать. "На поверку" оказалось, что это
это довольно неплохая штучка, а, вследствие своей распространённости в
"цивилизованном" мире и набору неплохих характеристик, неплохо поддерживаемая
Линукс-сообществом. в итоге я оказался ею доволен (тем более, что даже
утилита для перепрошивки под линукс есть). Могу вкратце описать рецепт и
"пройденные грабли", если кого заинтересует
PS. В киеве сейчас вобще DVDRW подешевели, в частности сабж стоит не более 73
$
