[sisyphus] hal is stopped shortly after the start

Здравствуйте!

Ситуация такая: ядро 2.6.10-std26-up-alt3, udev-0.50-alt1,
hal-0.4.7-alt2.

sudo chkconfig --list:
...
hal             0:выкл  1:выкл  2:выкл  3:вкл   4:вкл   5:вкл  
6:выкл
...
udevd           0:выкл  1:выкл  2:вкл   3:вкл   4:вкл   5:вкл  
6:выкл

Оба сервиса при загрузке стартуют без ругани. Но после окончания
загрузки:

sudo service udevd status
udev has run
sudo service hal status
hald is stopped

В /var/log/messages по поводу hal пишется следующее:

Если затем руками сделать sudo service hal start, то hal
запускается и пишет: hald is running

Вопрос: такое поведение нормально? Как с этим быть?
