Здравствуйте, sisyphus.
Кое-что интересное вычитал в соседней рассылке:

добавьте в /etc/fstab строку типа такой:
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0

Вопрос -а с тем,чтр в сизифе нечто подобное придётся делать?

Обязательно придётся. Впрочем, udev делает это автоматом независимо
от содержимого fstab.
