Да он и так не жилец.
Просто ide-cd нужно как-то загрузить.

Под 2.4 его нет. Выбирал между usb-uhci и uhci. Почему uhci -
не помню, что-то было давно с oops когда
load/unload. Но под 2.4 он точно у меня не грузится.
А uhci-hcd у меня и так под 2.6 грузится.
