После позавчерашнего обновления перестал работать hddtemp:
# service hddtemp restart
Service hddtemp is not running.  [PASSED]
Starting hddtemp service: bind: Cannot assign requested address [FAILED]

# uname -a
Linux 2.6.10-wks26-up-alt2 #1 Tue Jan 11 17:59:38 MSK 2005 i686 unknown 
unknown GNU/Linux

# cat /etc/sysconfig/hddtemp
## you can override initscript or hddtemp's defaults here;

echo "BOOTPROTO=static" >> /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-lo
ifup lo

или ждите обновления net-scripts (по словам pilot@)
