Предлагаю... :-)
1 Открываем FireFox
2 В строке адреса набираем about:config
3 Находим строку с accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound и правой кнопкой
мыши меняем true на false (команда контекстного меню toggle).
4 Перезапускаем мозиллу и радуемся тишиной... :-)
