В Sisyphus отправляется hotplug-2004_09_23-alt6
Всем, кому требуется сохранить хоть какую-то функциональность hotplug'а
на ядре 2.4 - рекомендуется поставить hotplug на Hold.
Среди изменений:
- в очередной раз исправлен block.agent, ошибка с очисткой fstab теперь
у меня не воспроизводится
- добавлена опция noauto для всех устройств, которым опции монтирования
не предоставляются с помошью storagescan
- изменено поведение firmware.agent - поиск доступных firmware теперь
идет в трех каталогах: /lib/firmware /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/ и в
/usr/local/lib/firmware/. При этом hotplug предоставляет только каталог
/lib/firmware/, он же является рекомендуемым для помещения загружаемых
firmware (usr может быть не смонтирован в момент, когда понадобится
загрузить firmware)
- изменен внутрении алгоритм детекта точки монтирования sysfs, в связи с
этим hotplug окончательно перестает работать на ядрах серии 2.4
ну и многое другое, закрыты практически все ошибки в bugzilla, просьба
тестировать и сообщать новые.

Дико прошу пардону, подскажите, пожалуйста, что конкретно прописать в
apt.conf, чтобы наверняка поставить hotplug на Hold?
у меня соотв секция выглядит вот так:
Hold {
// Old-style kernels.
"^(kernel|alsa)[0-9]+-source";
// hotplug for 2.4
"^hotplug-2004_09_23-alt5";
};
Но по apt-get dist-upgrade всё равно пытается обновить. Не хочется пока
слезать с 2.4
