В Сизиф отправлена новая версия fglrx_glx-8.8.25-alt2 - эта версия
вроде бы работает с X.Org 8.6. Правда, не совсем понятно, как ей
удаётся работать в текущем Сизифе, поскольку
$ ldd /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/fglrx_dri.so | grep libstdc++
libstdc++.so.5 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 (0xb7681000)
Впрочем, поделать с этим в любом случае ничего нельзя.
Внимание: для работы этой версии fglrx обязательна поддержка POSIX
shared memory - т.е., смонтированная tmpfs в /dev/shm. В простейшем
случае можно добавить в /etc/fstab строку:
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
Если /dev/shm нет, X всё-таки запускается, 2D-приложения и простейшие
программы типа gears работают, но при попытке запустить что-то,
реально использующее OpenGL, происходит зависание (работает только
SysRq).
Необходимо также установить соответствующие модули ядра (пакеты
kernel-modules-fglrx-*); они в данный момент собраны для ядер std-up,
std-smp, std26-up, std26-smp, vs26-smp.
