Есть звуковая карта SB Live 5.1

Под ядром 2.4.27 всё прекрасно работает. В /etc/modules.conf прописано
следующее:
above snd-emu10k1 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-slot-0 snd-emu10k1
above snd-pcm-oss snd-mixer-oss
Под ядром 2.6.9-alt11 глухо. Драйвера грузятся, но звука нет. Запустил
alsamixer, проверил не выключены ли каналы. Всё включил и покрутил
громкость. Всё равно тишина. Поиск на search.altlinux.ru по словам
"emu10k 2.6" ничего не дал. :-| Результаты amixer и lsmod прилагаются.

Попробуй приложенный /etc/asound.state. Его некоторое время
крутили в части PCM Send Routes, прежде чем завелось...
PS: записан под 2.4, но работал вроде и под 2.6.

Попробовал старый файл asound.state. Слегка ругнулся:
[root@p4 etc]# alsactl restore
No state is present for card I82801BAICH2
Fm-тюнер ожил, но ни один регулятор звука не работает. К тому же я на
gkrellm повесил регулятор громкости и Line1-выхода, для того, чтобы
регулировать или отключать звук TV/FM-тюнера. Так вот под ядром 2.6.9
на месте Line1 вдруг оказался Video. Брр.р... Может я чего-то не
понимаю? :-\ Народ, у кого такая карта под Сизифусом живёт и
здравствует? Есть такие?

Хех. А попробуй бутнуться под 2.4, залить в микшер эти значения
и _тепло_ бутнуться в 2.6 и записать там?
Если выгорит -- надо будет как-то специфически привязывать для
этого драйвера инициализацию при отсутствующем /etc/asound.state.

Надеюсь за последние 15 лет понятие "тёплый" старт не поменялся? :-) Это
команда reboot или Ctrl+Alt+Del. Я правильно понял?

Так-с. Всё решилось очень просто. Я не мог понять откуда
в /etc/asound.state появилось устройство I82801BAICH2 и два
устройства /dev/mixer и /dev/mixer1. Надо было отключить в BIOS'е
встроенную карту. Всем спасибо. :-)

Вдогонку: может это глюк ядра 2.6? Ведь в /etc/modules.conf не было
упоминания о том, что необходимо грузить для встроенной звукоквой карты
драйвера? Это что особенности 2.6 или повесить флажок в bugzilla?

Это отсутствие критичной фичи hotplug в пригодном к
непосредственному употреблению виде -- "здесь играем, здесь не
играем, а это устройство селёдкой пахнет". Бишь неуправляемый он
-- что видит, то грузит.
Игнорировалки какие-то _вроде_ есть, но скорее пока лучше в BIOS.
Баги висят, не беспокойся :-)
