kmail-1.7.1 (из kdepim-kmail-3.3.1-alt2, установлен
kdebase-kio-3.3.1-alt4.1) при попытке создать новый imaps-эккаунт
ругается (на этапе проверки возможностей сервера или при попытке
подключения) "не удается запустить процесс для newimaps". В
xsession-errors:0 наблюдаю
kmail: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : Не удаётся создать вспомогательный процесс для ввода/вывода.
Сообщение klauncher: Неизвестный протокол 'newimaps'.
kmail:
Разумеется никаких newimaps'ов в /usr/lib/kde3/ не наблюдается. Кто
виноват и что делать?

У меня тоже было после увода Мастера в Сизиф 20041129 (интересно, почему 1129,
если я уводил 4-ого ?..). Но я сразу kdepim до 3.3.0 откатил и все заработало.
Что еще интересно - kdepim перестал собираться, что 3.3.0, что текущий 3.3.1.
А в сизифе полутора-двухмесячной давности - собирается...
