Добрый день.
А что делает у меня в домашнем каталоге файл gmon.out? Я пытался его
удалять - возникает снова через некоторое время. Не то, чтобы это мне
мешало - просто интересно.
eugene ~ $ file gmon.out
gmon.out: GNU prof performance data - version 1
Сам я никаких вещей типа gprof не запускаю.

Какая-то программа собрана с профайлингом, она и оставляет этот файл после
своей работы. Возможно это ошибка сборки пакета.

А нет ли какого-либо способа определить, собран ли файл с профайлингом?
