При обновлении gstreamer-audio-effects появляются сообщения типа
Rebuilding user_registry (/root/.gstreamer-0.8/registry.xml) ...
$ sudo ls /root/.gstreamer-0.8/registry.xml
/root/.gstreamer-0.8/registry.xml
$

На самом деле оно не работает.
При запуске gst-player выводится сообщение
The videobalance element could not be found. This element is essential for playback. Please install the right plug-in and verify that it works by running 'gst-inspect videobalance'
gst-inspect говорит, что
No such element or plugin 'videobalance'
Вешать багу, или это у меня руки кривые?

Что оно? gst-player действительно рабочим можно назвать с очень большой
натяжкой. Пользуйте totem.
