Всем привет.
В Sisyphus ушел hotplug-2004_03_29-alt12.
Среди больших изменений:
все точки монтирования для block устройств переехали в /media/
Также в libhw-0.1.9.2-alt1 исправлена ошибка с детектом FAT разделов на
flash-дисках.
Просьба протестировать ;-)

[root@bush root]# service hotplug restart
Hotplug (cpu.rc) restart: [ DONE ]
Hotplug (block.rc) restart: [ DONE ]
Hotplug (usb.rc) restart: [ DONE ]
Hotplug (misc.rc) restart: [FAILED]
Hotplug (acpi.rc) restart: [ DONE ]
Hotplug (pci.rc) restart: [ DONE ]
Hotplug (sound.rc) restart: [ DONE ]
Подключил к компу FUJITSU HandyDrive на рабочем столе появилась иконка
"Внешний диск", в mc /mnt/storage.
1.Заходишь в mc в /mnt/storage, там пусто, девайс не смонтирован
2.щелкаешь на иконке - запускается конк. и там все фалы - ОК, девайс
смонтирован.
Появились две пустые папки
/lib64
/media
В /media ничего не монтируется!!

Функциональность нового hotplug'а можно увидеть исключительно на ядре
2.6.x (рекомендую 2.6.9)
На 2.4-ом ядре все еще отрабатывает код из kudzu и меняться это не будет.

Забить. В следующей версии hotplug'а failed'а там не будет.
Но функциональность при этом не изменится ;-)
