надо править через параметр ignore модулей ide-cd и ide-scsi.
В смысле
options ide-scsi ignore=/dev/hdd
options ide-cd ignore=/dev/hdc
Или как они у Вас там висят (У меня hdc - это пишущий привод (DVDRW),
а hdd - обычный CD-ROM). Вроде, работает.
