сегодняшний dist-upgrade (glibc-2.3.3.200404190147-alt1 и kde 3.2.2-alt2).
пришлось перезагрузить, иначе kdm не хотел пускать (м.б. из-за обновления
glibc).
грузиться машина стала секунд на 10 быстрее. кде - просто летает! то ли glibc
2.3 такая хорошая, то ли сам кде подчистили. но факт остается фактом - запуск
kontact - 3 секунды, konq и konsole открываются практически мгновенно, меньше
секунды. даже kcc за пару секунд открылся.
тормозит значительно меньше. моя глючная мыша перестала глючить (<стучу по
столу>).
правда сразу напоролся на segfault в kontrol center, но это мелочи.
все это на celeron-800 i815 256 sdram. вечером попробую на cel2100+256mb.
в общем круто. а стабильность - посмотрим.
