Мне помогла пересборка gnome-terminal с --enable debug -- в целях
поимки как раз этого бага. Типичный Гейзенбаг :)

Чего вы хотели, там же антиальясинг. Процессор обновлять давно
пробовали? :)

Странно, я им уже вовсю пользуюсь (правда, у gedit в русских локалях
оно пока не работает) и даже не знаю, где остался старый (Galeon тоже
снёс и заменил Epiphany).
