На самом деле, в KDE открытие устройства (кликом на иконке) приводит к
его автоматическому монтированию. Типа, фича такая. Если Вы попробуете
достучаться к только что вставленному устройству "из консоли", не
открывая его в KDE, Вас ждет разочарование.

Ну, оно подсоединилось. В смысле, увиделось. Но не смонтировалось.

(Меланхолично) supermount?
Фактически, это единственная причина, заставляющая меня держать
свой флэйвор ядра. В остальном vsu@ справляется с работой заметно лучше
меня.
Жаль только, что после безвременной кончины домашней машинки
хотмаунтовские скрипты придется восстанавливать наново. Или уже к udev'у
привязаться?
