hi, all!
freebsd стоит на hdd1.
пытаюсь прописать так:
# For booting FreeBSD
title FreeBSD 5.2.1-release
root (hd3,0,a)
kernel /boot/loader
не грузится. как быть?

Значит, /boot/loader не на hd3,0,a. У меня он по умолчанию был то ли на b,
то ли на e -- просто попробуйте из командной строки груба пошариться.
Очевидно, что, если /boot/loader на указаной партиции нет, он просто
скажет, что нет такого файла. К тому же, у груба автокомплит есть.
