Похоже, есть проблема со стартовыми скриптами (USB'шными?) и
(по крайней мере) APC Back-UPS CS 500 (EI, который с USB-управлением).
Дело в том, что при [пере]загрузке компа код по поднятию
соответствующего драйвера (hiddev) не срабатывает /каким-либо образом/,
и демон apcupsd отказывается стартовать.
В логах dmesg, что UPS нормально опознался, и, вроде, модуль hid
оказывается загружен, однако этого /не хватает/.
Если я после этого передерну USB-кабель, ведущий к UPS'у, то hotplug
нормально подхватывает это устройство, и apcupsd начинает нормально
стартовать и работать.
Дорогая редакция, где крутить?
Логи USB подсистемы доступны по запросу.
Ядро 2.4.25, /etc/rc.d/init.d/usb из service-0.8.3-alt1
