В Сизиф отправилась Самба 3.0.3pre2 (плюс некоторые исправления).
Изменения:
+ исправлена ошибка, мешавшая работе smbfs (#3937)
+ добавлена поддержка OS/2-like Extended Attributes
+ добавлена поддержка nested local groups
+ добавлена поддержка aliases в winbindd
+ добавлена поддержка ограничения доступа по группе в ntlm_auth
+ существенно обновлена документация:
+ в The Official Samba 3 HOWTO добавлены недостающие 5 глав,
которые отличали печатную версию от электронной
+ добавленая новая книга Джона Терпстры Samba-3 by Example с
примерами настройки Samba 3.0.2 для различных окружений
(малый офис, средний офис, большой офис, защищенное
окружение, поддержка LDAP, DDNS, DHCP и так далее)
+ выделен libsmbclient{,-devel{,-static}}, теперь остальные пакеты
(kdebase-kio-samba и проч.) могут выставлять зависимость только
на него (одна библиотека) вместо целого smbclient
Эта версия после тестирования рекоммендуется для включения в школьную
поставку ALT Linux.
