Не смог настроить интернет клиенту, возжелавшему Линукс. Поставил ему новый
Compact, все хорошо, все красиво, все работает. Окромя Инета. Подскажите,
может кто что и знает. Или что почитать хотя бы... Хотя прочел уже все, что
смог найти. Неужто для Линукса работа с USB-модемами так и не реализована?

У моего друга работает USB ADSL модем - без проблем, только пришлось
скачать программу связи с ним с сайта производителя. Система:
Master2.2+updates.

Какой модем-то? Сейчас собираю для себя поддержку Zyxel Prestige 630-11
(AKA Zyxel Prestige 630 EE) на базе AME DynaMiTe. Локально всё жужжит и не
падает.
PS Сизиф@ сейчас читаю нерегулярно, поэтому с вопросами по _этой_ модели -
в мыло.
