Я так понимаю, что большинство дистрибутивов ALTLinux сделано как раз на основе Mdk.
Вообще-то меня он вполне устраиваит, на 4-х дисках дистрибутива есть все необходимые пакеты как для сервера,
так и для рабочей станции.

Сначала было нужно срочно, типа "завтра привезут сервер, ставь на него Linux - в субботу заменим старый" ;)
А теперь оказалось, что время терпит и наложились еще проблемы, так что во благо защиты и интегрированной поддержки tcb
решено качать и ставить Master 2.2, только почему 1 диск я не понял - дистрибутив 8 дисков, а что на каком нигде не написано :(
и еще везде лежит он пакетами отдельными, а не ISO
