Понятно, но IMHO лучше сделать, чтобы всплывающее меню аплета
работало при открытом этом окне.
Хотя Ваш вариант проще. Я подумаю.

Это программа проверки таких обновлений,
размер которых не должен влиять выбор необходимости их установки.
Именно поэтому загорается красная лампочка, а не синяя и не желтая.
Еще раз повторяю, не путайте пожалуйста Сизиф
и предназначение alt-update.
