Есть привод HDD 40 Gb с интерфейсом USB 2.0, в системе виден как /dev/sda, на
нём раздел sda1 reiserfs.
Проинсталлил на него Compact, в процессе инсталляции не захотел на /dev/sda
ставиться ни lilo, ни grub. Сделал загрузочную дискету, но естественно с неё
не подхватывает корневой раздел (оно и понятно: модули USB грузятся как
сервис). Решение "в лоб" не помогло (генерация initrd.img с необходимыми
модулями).
Может кто подскажет, как завести сие устройство в качестве корневого для
системы?
