Ну, я с таким не сталкивался, поэтому ничего не скажу.

Путь довольно нетривиальный: проблемы с резольвером, apt-cache
search resolv, chrooted-resolv, chrooted... Правда сам я про всё
это читал в devel@ ещё в процессе разработки и видел чужие спеки.
Книжек под рукой нет, но думаю там об этом где-то что-то должно
быть написано...
