Посмотрел в районе alt4...alt7 - ничего подозрительного в изменениях не
обнаружил. Единственное потенциально влияющее изменение - ACPI. Опции
pci=noacpi, acpi=off, acpi=off noapic не влияют на ситуацию?
Вот в сборке alt8 действительно были исправления в сетевой подсистеме...
