А какая предыдущая версия работала?

В 0.9.8 были следующие изменения, касающиеся snd-emu10k1:

	  the audigy routing with the new definition.

	  pci/emu10k1/emumixer.c: Peter Zubaj <pzad@pobox.sk>: - redesigned
	  the default DSP routing of audigy1/2 boards.	  the normal PCM
	  output is sent through "Stereo Mix", while	the independent pcm
	  streams can be attenuated by "PCM Front",    "PCM Rear", and "PCM
	  Center/LFE" volumes.

Начните с проверки alsamixer - там могли появиться новые регуляторы,
которые нужно включить.
