Доброе время суток !
Господа. Может объяснит мне кто нибудь, почему с ядром 2.4.22-std-up не
работает 3D на видеоплате Matrox Millinium G450 ?
c ядром 2.4.20-alt7 все прекрасно. Что, не ужели опять в АльтЛинукс не будет
работать Matrox с 3D? Нехорошо получается

А какие сообщения ядра (dmesg) и XFree (/var/log/XFree86.0.log) при
этом наблюдаются? Какая конкретно сборка ядра и XFree?

Сегодня весь день тестировал бету Compact'а. Там как раз это ядро.
Tuxracer и прочие 3D-игры работали замечательно. При конфигурировании
Иксов выбирал "XFree 4.xx с аппаратным ускорением". Карта та же.
