Данная разработка позволит увеличить пропускную спообность сетей Internet за счет постоянного слежения за временем передачи данных от одного компьютера к другому. При этом канал работает в режиме близком к максимальному, так как минимизируется вероятность появления заторов пакетов. Первые исследования показали, что новый протокол позволил увеличить скорость пропускания в 2-3 раза по сравнению с обычным TCP. При этом затраты на реализацию минимальны: изменению подвергается ПО передающего компьютера. Аппаратного изменения нет вообще.
