Что забавно:
$ sudo service wine status
windows: enabled
interpreter /usr/bin/wine

Или это лажа?

Ээээ торможу я, не dhcpd, а dhcpcd... в логах он ничего не пишет...
/var/log/messages пуст на счет этого... а при загрузке примерно:
"Can't determining IP information for eth0 via dhcpcd..."
