Пробую прикрутить на старенький ноут(p-133mmx/96RAM) свеженький дистрибутив.
Поставился со strawberry installer CD - самый первый выпуск.
Потом добавил диски с Сизифом от 1 августа.
Обновил систему, доставил WindowMaker(темы ставились с бубном --force-yes,
апплеты попали далеко не все в список аплетов самого WindowMaker), gnumeric,
abiword, dia, lyx, phoenix. Впринципе работает.
Странно стало что dia не удаляет выделеный объект - сунулся в помощь, а она не
открывается совсем. В 12 консоли возмущения по по поводу gconf, xml и ещё
чего то там не читабельно, так как видимо русский текст высыпается в
псевдографике.
Поскольку на этой моей машинке помощь в GTK шных приложениях читается
насколько я пнял припомощи galeon попробовал поставить его, но он за собоя
тянет мозилу и еще какие то хвосты... Я отказался решил спросить другого
пути. Кто то знает? Или может help к этим программам идёт в отдельных пакетов
подскажите. Буду рад любому умному совету.

Ну нет там помощи. Спрашивайте здесь :)
А пробовали для удаления Ctrl-X нажимать?
