В /i/S/BTE направляется tvtime-0.9.10-alt2.
Эта сборка учитывает все пожелания автора по части пакета; меня
она не устраивает по полутора пунктам:
- использование control(8) вместо более адекватного средства, и
- наличие двух DLL.
Последнее не противоречит лицензии пакета (GPL), т.к. DScaler
(http://dscaler.org) сам GPLed, но на данный момент не портирован
на Linux (проблема в Intel-style inline assembly) и,
следовательно, полноценная сборка невозможна.
В Debian и Mdk (около) присутствует libdscaler с исходниками ради
соблюдения GPL "до точки"; мне это не кажется критичным ввиду
добавленного README.ALT с объяснением ситуации и ссылкой на
исходники DScaler, но если кто-либо заинтересуется вопросом
портирования -- см. это самое README.ALT.
По правам доступа.
/usr/bin/tvtime -- SUID binary, которое public/audio/restricted.
Сделать его audio by default означает сломать из коробки, т.к.
есть основания считать, что людей, которые используют ту же
группу audio, среди целевой аудитории tvtime не особенно много.
Вопрос в том, как правильно организовать прозрачный доступ без
лишних нетривиальных SUID binaries.
Я правильно понимаю, что смотреть в сторону consolehelper?
Где читать и/или что брать за образец -- synaptic-usermode?
