Люди, кто использует ноуты, поделитесь , чем пользуетесь АПМ или АЦПИ?
То , что они не дружат, я понял, вопрос в том, что от Мастера/Сизифа
лучше работает/более важен для системы?

а что ноут поддерживает?
новые, как правило, только acpi
для APM - apmd
для ACPI - acpid
недавно в зисзиф пошел powerd,
который управлет ими

только просто "power", который суть тупая обертка на уровне еще
одного инитскрипта плюс загружалка модулей :)
просьба погонять power-0.2-alt1 и впечатления в bugzilla
