Сегодня попытался импортировать текстовый файл в котором больше 65535 строк.
KSpread вылетел

А Вы не могли предположить, что у KSpread попросту ограничение на объём
табличных данных? :-)

И что? Тотже Exel говорит, что данные загружены не полностью, и продолжает работать.
Неужели это так трудно отслеживать???? Естессно нет.

В качестве "закругления" с оффтопиком предлагаю Вам написать
соответствующий патч или проверить наличие ошибки в KSpread из ветки 1.3
