Однако, есть еще одно решение, которое _значительно_,
я бы даже сказал _радикально_ приблизит дистрибутив к
разработчикам (и пользователям тоже), улучшит качество
(вылизанность) его многократно и увеличит количество
мантайнеров, если не на порядок, то в разы все же!
Это решение предполагает перевод репозитария на CVS.
Затраты на эту операцию понятно немалые, но если ее
осилить то ежедневное обновление из сизифа вполне
будет доступно практически каждому, т.к. потребуется
выкачивать не многомегабайтные пакеты, а только
маловесные патчи. Это особо отчетливо видно на примере
ядра.
Однако, и увы, это пожалуй, только мысли в слух... :-(
Из devel как-то раздался звук на эту тему, но затих
он раньше, чем был замечен кем либо.
Как бы я хотел быть неправ в этом высказывании, но увы,
похоже надежды нет.
