Hi!
Неделю изучаю теорию и проверяю на практике раздел камасутры "как заставить
работать бездисковую станцию (BPROM, PXE)". Никак :-)
Поставил пакет syslinux, сделал как все описано. Дополнительно пользую LTSE (в
него входит другое ядро, икс-коре).
Записываю на флоп образ BOOT PROM (немного другой, чем для ПЗУ) - все
работает. Прошить ПЗУ нету возможности. Плата умеет PXE. Включаю. Адрес
получает, грит нету у тя PXE сервера, буду пользовать чет другое, не помню.
Дергает tftp, в логах вижу, что просит у него (tftp), то, что DHCPD сказал.
Причем несколько раз. Потом отлетает по тайм-ауту и грит ниче не вышло.
Проверяю tftp для этой же железяки (с тем же IP/MAC) - все отдается.
Перечитал то, что смог нарыть.
Может LTSE с PXE не работает в принципе?
Еще пробовал вместо PXE во флэш прошить etherboot (BOOT PROM). Не помогает.
Вообще попыток по сети стартануться не наблюдается.
Собсно вопросы:
Для PXE достаточно пакета syslinux или надо париться со сборкой PXE сервера?
И как все-таки заставить это работать?
Буду весьма признателен, если покажет кто на хорошую доку (пришлет на мыло)
или просветлит. Может можно текущее ядро и текущие иксы (без LTSE) грузить?
