Обновился вчера и пожалел.
Не знаю почему, но с новыми иксами 4.3 Mathematica не видит свои
PS-шрифты. Они прописаны, всё нормально работало до обновления.
Она никаких ошибок не сообщает, просто отображает свои спецсимволы
другим шрифтом. Смена порядка шрифтов в конфиге xfs не помогает,
добавление явно xset +fp тоже.
Пока спасся тем, что я работаю на X-терминале и на нём ещё иксы
4.2.1.1-alt3. Положил шрифты на терминальную машину и вставил
иксам путь явно: xset +fp. Всё работает вполне удовлетворительно.
Но мне это не нравится. Никто не знает, в чём может быть
проблема? Как бы её локализовать?
