Не прижилась у меня эта версия. Первое, на что я обратил
внимание, при перезапуске машины не выполняется stop для xinetd.
Потом оказалось, что stop не выполняется и при service xinetd
restart.
Ну, а потом в системе начались чудеса - я не смог обновиться по
rsync с локального репозитария. Далее оказалось, что исчез доступ
к локальному анонимному ftp-серверу. Пришлось снести libra-ftpd и
установить vsftpd. Но и это не дало результата. Когда же я не
обнаружил его в стартовавших процессах, пришлось сделать откат на
очень старую версию xinetd. Работа системы мгновенно
восстановилась. И даже новости с локального сервера стали
читаться. А то новые статьи видны, а прочесть нельзя :-).
Внимательно смотрю за листом рассылки - тишина. Все-таки мне
кажется, что на xinetd надо посмотреть.
Сейчас Сизиф-20030419, кроме xinetd.
