Привет.
Во-первых про Xkb: если у вас стоял XkbLayout "ru", то надо поменять
на "us,ru", а если "ru_ua", то на "us,ru,ua", и. т. п.
Во-вторых про курсоры: они меняются посредством установки X-ресурса
Xcursor.theme, или установки переменной окружения XCURSOR_THEME в имя
темы. Темы предоставляемые новыми пакетами, -- whiteglass, redglass и
handhelds. whiteglass идёт по умолчанию.
Проблема с курсорами следующая: libX11 делает dlopen на
libXcursor.so. Естественно этот файл попал в XFree86-devel. В
следующем релизе libX11 будет делать dlopen на
libXcursor.so.1. Временное решение проблемы: поставить XFree86-devel
или сделать ссылку:
ln -s /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/libXcursor.so.1
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/libXcursor.so
