Вечер добрый!
Сегодня пересобрал 2.4.20-alt7 с поддержкой HIGHMEM, установил и успешно
загрузился, но при переходе X(KDE)->console->X имею черный экран вместо
десктопа. Машина не виснет, по пустому экрану бегает курсор мыши и даже
gpm работает, обратно в другие консоли тоже переключаюсь, но X/KDE
пропадает навсегда. Видео NVIDIA, kernel_NVIDIA тоже естественно
пересобран и установлен, в логах абсолютно никаких жалоб. Что за
подземный стук? У точно так же пересобранного ядра 2.4.20-alt0.8 --
никаких проблем с иксами. Единственная разница - alt0.8 пересобрано gcc
3.0.2 (так тогда было модно), а alt7 -- 2.96 (так сейчас модно). Куда
копать, подскажите пожалуйста.
