Вот это плохо -- много трубили, вроде бы :( Правда, я их
отродясь не пользоавл (поэтому и слышал, наверное)...

Потому как он несовместим с linux-2.4, а отдельные элементы до
сих пор пользуются linux-2.2 (и даже 2.0) ;-)
PS: повесите на пакет dump баг ("feature") с тем, чтоб в summary
дописали "for linux-2.2 and before", а в desc -- "DOESN'T WORK
WITH linux-2.4"?
PPS: поищите "dump restore 2.4" на lwn.net -- чой-то да будет.
