Уже полгода синхронизируюсь с Сизифом командой
rsync --delete-after --partial --timeout=200 --progress -avuzb
--exclude-from=exclude.lst ftp://............
и вот замечаю, что иногда он не докачивает пакет с того места, где прервался,
а начинает заново.
Вот я запустил rsync. Скачивается пакет:

Это был обрыв связи.
Запускаю rsync заново:

То есть не продолжает. При том что файл с предыдущей попытки скачать остался
с ~, неполного размера 3571705.
Не должен rsync так поступать. Я уж молчу что сам пакет tuxtype до сих пор
имеет неверную md5sum и не устанавливается.

Подтверждаю, недавно началось такое. Кстати, при попытке залить в
incoming тоже ошибка в конце передачи:
rsync error: partial transfer (code 23) at main.c(537)

Что дает повод волноваться за целостность зеркала 8-|
Время от времени последней строчкой в логе (после десятка попыток
с пятиминутным таймаутом) так и остается conn reset :(
