В драйверах alsa действительно не прописан тэг MODULE_LICENCE, из-за чего
они при modprobe ругаются в syslog. Ругань на экран все этого безобразия
происходит только в том случае, если модуль не смог подцепить карточку - и
его лицензия здесь совершенно не причем. Пришлите мне полный вывод вашего
скрипта /etc/init.d/sound start.
